Go fishing with the locals - If you like fishing this is the weekend for you. We are located on the Serpent River a short boat ride away from a large sheltered bay of Lake Huron where the fishing has been fantastic. We have arranged with many of our local seasonal campers to take you fishing. They know the hot spots and they have the boats so no need to bring yours. Limited fishing gear will be available so bring yours if you have some.

This year's event is during the free fishing week in Ontario so no need for a fishing licence.

Don`t like fishing? No problem! Plenty of other activities will be available. Canoe and kayak rentals, large inground pool, playground for the kids and plenty of other free outdoor games. If this still sounds like too much work you could rent a movie or browse our book exchange.

A hall is available in case of rain.

Join us for a fish fry on Saturday as we prepare french fries and the "Catch of the Day". A bonfire will follow where you will be able to swap all of your fish tales.

We will be having a community Burrito Breakfast on Sunday morning so if you want to participate please bring along an ingredient or two and of course volunteers will also be welcomed for cooking.
